Pastor Jerry Gandy Bio

 

Jerry Gandy was born in Sunflower, MS. she moved to Chicago while still in grammar school

and continued her education in the Chicago public school system. She is married to Ellis K.

Gandy Sr. and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children and six grand children.

Jerry attended Chicago community colleges at Kennedy King and Richard J. Daley. Working in

the Social Service industry for over twenty years, she realized that she enjoys serving others. She

loves cooking for her family as well as preparing special dishes for the homeless.

Jerry was ordained as a pastor in 2004, under the leadership of Apostle Howard and Apostle Dr.

Julia Holmes. She currently serves as 1st Assistant Pastor at Joyful Harvest also known as,

"Harvest International Ministries." Within the ministry of Harvest she serves as Care Pastor, the

Director of the Worship Ministry, the Usher Board, the Benevolence ministry and the ministry of

Hospitality.

Jerry love seeing God’s people delivered, healed and comforted when ministering in song. She

has written several praise and worship songs, along with the worship team of Harvest. Over the

years she has traveled with "DWELL-N-HIS PRESENCE" to places such as; Minneapolis,

Fargo, North Dakota, Houston Texas, Flint Michigan and Rincon Georgia, along with Joyful

Harvest, also know as Harvest International Ministry.
